YIppeeYi Oh, we have a roof, covered with tar paper!! So now I suppose the weather will cool off?

Ok, this rain is a complete bummer......We'll get past this week though and it will be smooth sailing the rest of the way!

Great 3 days of Raise the Roof. The walls are up, the trusses are up, we are on our way! Who would have believed the good weather all weekend, despite dire predictions? There's a roof to put on next week, so let's keep the energy going. Thanks to everyone, construction volunteers, hospitality, every one!! You're the greatest.

The Walls are built!

Day 2 of the wall build started off really early, 5:30 a.m. WHAS 11 Good Morning Kentuckiana was on site at the construction center for their morning show. After our early endeavor we all went to breakfast at Lynn's Paradise Cafe. The wall build continued at 9:00 with Susan's team joining the team of regulars to finish up all the walls.
